The fashion industry seems to accept only one type of woman. Not all sizes and shapes are acceptable. You only see a slim model on the front page of a magazine.
BuzzFeed decided to tackle fashion’s ‘only slim’ problem by having plus-size women recreate high-fashion ads — and the results are absolutely superb.
Not only do all of the women completely kill it at recreating the ads, but each also proves how empowering and important it is that we recognize that women of all sizes are beautiful
No wonder Sheridian one of the models wrote “Representation is important, because every person has the right to feel beautiful without some dumbass internet doctor chiming in with some ‘advice,’. “Each body is special — if you feel great, that’s all that matters.”
