It’s finally Friday again and if you’re in a bubbling city like us then you’re probably going to be partying your way into the early hours of the morning. With so many occasions to wear all those sparkly, if somewhat impractical towering heels to, we have some tips for protecting those pretty feet of yours. Here’s how you can get through the night without winding up as the barefoot girl at the event:

1 ) CHOOSE YOUR SHOES WISELY
When buying a new pair of shoes we will implore you to pay extra special attention to the way the shoe feels and not just how they look. You should always feel balanced and centered. If the shoes feel too narrow, too loose or even if the star feels like it’s positioned in a peculiar place, we promise you that you will regret that purchase.

2 ) THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAIL
Comfort doesn’t mean you have to resort to wearing shoes meant for orthopedic patients. You should look for these 3 simple details- extra padding in the insole and all over the inner sole, a heel base that isn’t needle thin (the wider the base the more comfortable) and lastly a maximum height of four inches.
3 ) ROUGH UP THE SOLES
We know what you’re thinking- we must be mad to tell you to mess up your shoes after you spent so much for these precious babes. But trust us, taking a cheese grater to the expensive new shoes will prevent you from slipping too easily on smooth floors. Something that’s very necessary, especially if your going to be partying all night

4 ) DON’T WEAR THEM FOR TOO LONG
We say it doesn’t mater if you’re wearing the worlds best shoes- standing on the ball off your feet all day will surely hurt.We say take them off at every given chance – under the table at the restaurant, at your desk at work and especially in your car.
5 ) RECOVERY TIME

Those pretty feet and legs need a soak in a cool peppermint bath once you take off your heels and before you go to the dream world. Knowing that you can do that (and if you’re feeling particularly fancy, follow it up with a nourishing balm) at the end of your turn up makes it a lot easier to get through the night.
