Zlatan Ibrahimovic is apparently in line for a shock move to Everton should Carlo Ancelotti become manager.

Zlatan has been a free agent since leaving LA Galaxy and he’s apparently in advanced talks with the Merseyside outfit according to Tancredi Palermi.

Ibrahimovic has been linked with a host of clubs including former sides AC Milan and Manchester United.

The duo would be reuniting following a year together at Paris Saint-Germain which proved to be fruitful.

“Ibra” netted 35 goals in the 12/13 season as PSG went on to win Ligue 1 for the first time in 19 years making him a legend in Paris.

Ancelotti had joked about signing Ibrahimovic for previous club Napoli after his departure from the MLS.

‘I’ll call him tonight and say we’re waiting!’ Ancelotti joked after Napoli’s 2-0 win over Hellas Verona in October.

‘I have a great deal of affection for him, I saw he scored 29 goals in 30 MLS games. Tomorrow, after I’ve called him, I’ll let you know how it went!’

Everton fans are on Twitter are getting very excited about the possible transfer.
