In March 2018, Krispy Kreme, international doughnuts and coffee chain founded in 1937 opened its first store in Lagos, Nigeria. Since then, the brand has been committed to spreading joy and creating magic moments through great doughnuts and coffee to Lagosians and people all over.

Krispy Kreme is the home of the World Famous Original Glazed Doughnuts; a special recipe discovered by Vernon Rudolph in Winston Salem. The Original Glazed has gone on to become the symbol of quality doughnuts all over the world and that same standard was established in Nigeria when the state-of-the-art factory store with the capacity to make hundreds of doughnuts per minute was opened at Ikeja City Mall.

At all Krispy Kreme factory stores, it’s hard to miss the Hot light, a trademarked practice that offers customers get a free Original Glazed doughnut fresh off the line when production is ongoing. The distinct sign draws people to the stores as early as 6 am at the Victoria Outlet for that unrivaled taste of hot melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme is committed to making fresh doughnuts every day. This means they never display doughnuts that don’t comply with their carefully researched recipes and practices. They also continue to add more varieties to their offerings and have partnered with local brands to create some very unique doughnuts for the Nigerian Market. The Crunchy Peanut Butter, Bran & Honey and Banana Kreme Pie are some of their exciting options.

In every Krispy Kreme store, the strong smell of coffee seizes your attention. They have been committed to the use of 100% Arabica Coffee, handmade only by trained baristas, who make a wide range of coffee types.

In essence, Krispy Kreme has been on the journey of developing a great coffee and doughnut culture where people can walk into any store or order their favorite treats online as they continue to bring the quality that has served and brought joy to people all over the world for over 82 years.
