The 8th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) will hold at Landmark Retail Boulevard, Water Corporation Drive, Victoria Island, and will feature other exciting programs, conferences, seminars and workshops.
It is an International Film Festival for Africans which includes both local and international professionals filmmakers, celebrities, actors, directors, film critics, musicians, editors, students, equipment manufacturers, light engineers, cinematographers, sound engineers visual artists, buyers, amateurs, equipment manufacturers, film students, distributors, international press and more.
The event was put in place to bring together all in the film and entertainment industry with the purpose of improving and developing the film industry in Nigeria and Africa.
It will provide a lot of opportunities for the film industry in terms of growth and establishment and will create a platform for investors and technical acquisition.
It will accommodate more than 2000 industry guests, 500 workshop participants, more than 10,000 international and domestic audience, and more than 500 international entries from global professional and amateur filmmakers.
AFRIFF is taking place from the 11th-16th of November with 14th of November being the official screening of the five Accelerate Filmmaker project movies which were chosen during this year’s Accelerate Filmmaker Project.
