Here are 3 things to take note of when micro blading for the first time ever as told by our in-house video editor Nkem Ikeh . From a young age, Nkem always struggled with light brows therefore she decided to get hers micro bladed. Her experience was thorough and she held nothing back when recanting her tale.
Micro blading Tip 1
Always a sceptic, Nkem stresses on doing your research. Some ladies go for micro blading and come back with boxy botched up brows. On doing research Nkem found so many people use a less thorough technique for micro blading and so you need to let your brow technician know straight away that even after the brow come our dark and boxy they must persevere until it gets to its natural state.
As Nkem, says patience is a virtue and nothing lasts forever. Years ago, in the Nigerian region, micro blading was a skill unknown to many hence the few and far between micro blading technicians in Lagos found it easy to charge exorbitant prices , she patiently waited for the time when more people learnt the skill, to be able to wisely choose who to do the treatment for her.
Much like anything in life, if you want something done, then by all means go for it but you must be dedicated to see it through to the end.
This is worth remembering when micro blading because you’d need to ensure you maintain the brows after the first two weeks, then you must return for a preliminary touch up. You must avoid certain elements to ensure the brows take full shape.
