Ghanaian fashion designer, Mimmy Yeboah has released her 2017 swimwear capsule collection.
The capsule, tagged ‘West African flag’ comes in various colours and expectedly features signature aesthetics, scintillating print swimwear and gorgeous vibrant colours.
The collection made use of Ghanaian colours but instead of black, which represents the black star, she picks white for purity and good luck.
The capsule expects one to flaunt the skin without paying attention to critics.
The Model showcased her ample cleavage and long bronzed legs in the lookbook.
The look styled complete with colourful pashmina head wrap over flame prints, colourful stripes and sheer print works.
The collection was sensual and artistry all at the same time.
Mimmy, talks about what inspired her to release the collection, “I believe every creative person is a sponge; they absorb everything that surrounds them. We or I cannot just pinpoint one thing that inspires us/ me. I can be in the hood and be inspired by the street wear or paintings or what some may call graffiti on the walls.
“I can be in the Hamptons and also become inspired by the beautiful well taken care of flowers surrounding the area. Or I can be in the hospital and get inspiration from the sadness that fills my heart when I see a sick patient. The emotions I received from these things are what inspire me. The sound of music or even how an artist performs a particular song can give emotions.”
