We saw some great movies in 2017. From Dunkirk, to Logan, then Thor: Ragnarok, and Wonder Woman, to Coco, Okja and so many others, making the year absolutely memorable. Now, let’s look at some of the movies to look forward to this year:

black panther

Avengers: Infinity War

This very highly anticipated movie, “Avengers: Infinity War” from the Marvel Studios is intended to be a sequel to 2012’s “The Avengers” and 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. This time, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers are set against the despot-Thanos. To defeat him and to save humanity, the Avengers must unite against him and be prepared for anything. It will be released on April 25, 2018.

M:I 6 – Mission Impossible

Tom Cruise is back with the 6th instalment of his Mission Impossible series with “M:I 6 – Mission Impossible”. Nothing much is known about the plotline of the movie yet but all that we can infer that our international undercover spy will be on a yet another breathtaking journey to uncover secrets, solve mysteries and possibly to save the world from evil doers through some high doses of action-packed sequences. The movie will hit cinemas on July 27, 2018.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

This is the second film of the Star Wars Anthology Series, after the first one titled- “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, is set to release on May 25, 2018. The movie is centred around Han Solo, a character from the Star Wars franchise. Hence the name “Solo”. The movie portrays Han Solo and Chewbacca’s adventures before joining the Rebellion, including their early encounters with Lando Calrissian.

Black Panther

This is another movie from the Marvel studios which is desperately being awaited by many fans. Based on the Marvel comics superhero Black Panther, the movie will show the return of the hero to his nation to save it from old enemies and to become the rightful king. It will be released on 16 February 2018. The movie stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Andy Serkis

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

The fifth instalment of the Jurassic Park film series, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is intended to be the sequel to “Jurassic World” (2015). Four years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar. When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire. The film is set to release on 22 June 2018.

Ocean’s 8

A retake on Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Trilogy featuring all female lead roles, “Ocean’s 8” is making quite a buzz among the movie lovers out there. In this heist-comedy film, a criminal mastermind, Debbie Ocean, and seven other female thieves try to pull off the heist of the century at New York’s yearly Met Gala. It is all set to be released on June 8, 2018.

Deadpool

The superhero movie based on the Marvel comics character Deadpool. The new adventure of Deadpool is expected to release on 1 June 2018 in the USA. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Josh Brolin and TJ Miller among others.
