Tekashi 6ix9ine’s new song, ‘Gooba’, may have shattered a YouTube record. However, it seems the song is performing below par on iTunes.

This perhaps prompted the rapper to announce on his Instagram story that he would release a new single if Gooba hits 10,000 downloads on iTunes.

He said: “Everyone go buy ‘Gooba’ on iTunes. Let’s get 10,000 I’ll drop a new song next week,” he wrote.

Tekashi’s Instagram live was watched by about 2 million people and he also released his first single Gooba since he regained his freedom.

On the same Instagram live, the rapper said sorry to his friends and family for putting their lives in danger as a result of his arrest. Regardless, he never apologised for being a snitch!
