The music talent hunt television reality show, ‘Access The Stars’, officially kicked off with auditions in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Hosted by Dare Art Alade with Olive Emodi as co-host, ‘Access The Stars’ aired on Hip TV, Africa Magic, Views channel and Accelerate TV.The auditions held at Park Inn by Radisson at Ibrahim Babangida Boulevard, Kuto Abeokuta on the 19th and 20th of November 2019.

At Abeokuta, we met a couple of interesting people with unique stories and reasons why they wanted to audition:

This is Tofunmi. He is a student of the Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta, studying Agricultural extension and Rural Management. He finds it amusing that he studies such a course even though he was born to be a music artist. He had a class on animal studies the day we met him and his next class was two days after that. So with his free day……he auditioned for #AccessTheStars

This is Bella. She sings. She sings for laughter and she sings for tears. She says its her source of joy. She believes that she can make good money in the future by following her course of study at the Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta….which is Aquatic Culture and Fisheries Management. But at the same time she believes she can also make money as an artist….and also find joy. Luckily her parents are supportive of her talent and dreams. The only problem is……Bella has stage fright! She gets nervous when anyone is watching, and she is afraid that the fear threatens her entire essence as a singer. So she decided….if she does not take a shot and face a panel of judges…her dreams won’t come true. So she auditioned for #AccessTheStars

This is Jibola. He lives in the city of Ibadan where he just completed his NYSC year. He saw an #AccessTheStars promo online, packed a bag, got on the road and hit the city of Abeokuta.

Each audition was a unique experience for each person with different backgrounds, but they all had one thing in common, to become the ultimate star and win prizes worth 150 million naira.
