One cannot overemphasize the importance of fashion shows, especially in a budding industry like Africa’s. The Accra Fashion Show, which debuted in 2017 and made history as it hosted foreign designers from all parts of the globe is set to commence it’s second show for 2018.
Asides the SA Fashion week and SA menswears week, this is the other only Fashion Week that would hold twice in a year.
The Fashion Week which is for the Harmattan will feature models walking alongside brand new cars at the CFAO Showroom, Airport, Accra on October 6 and 7. Leading fashion brands such as Bri Wireduah, Aphia Sakyi, Afre Anko, Ekua Addo, Mish Mega, Madlyn Mode, MXDonna (Nigeria), Mark Johnson (UK), Onyx by Valentina (Nigeria), others are poised to take the runway with their designs.
We look forward to a more successful AFWK, a veritable African platform for showcasing up and coming designers alongside the big wigs of the industry.
