Fashion blogger, Demure Denike, owner of the ready-to-wear brand, Demure by Denike, has unveiled her debut collection. She hooked up with Adire Lounge for fabrics she used in creating these stylish outfits.

Adire (Yoruba: tie and dye) textile is the indigo-dyed cloth made in southwestern Nigeria by Yoruba women, using a variety of resist-dyeing techniques.

The collection is really dear to me cos it’s a juxtaposition of traditional tie dye (adire) techniques and contemporary fabrics and that is something I’m excited about.” said Denike who wants to challenge the norm, adding “Creating a fun and trendy way to wear Yoruba culture and heritage while encouraging ethical fashion as it was made in Nigeria by Nigerians from the hand dyeing of fabrics to the sewing by local artisans, hereby creating opportunities.”
