Adwoa Aboah, British model, advocate and activist of Ghanaian descent joins Actor Gwendoline Christie, Musician Sam Smith and other celebrities on British GQ’s Heroes-themed cover spread.
For the cover, the model, photographed by Buzz is striking in black & white portrait. For beauty look, Adwoah has on arched eyebrows, graphic under-eye lashes and minimal makeup causing her natural beauty to shine through.
She speaks to GQ Heroes on the inside of the June issue why giving help can be as valuable as seeking it. She also shared what the word “hero” means to her:
“Someone who lives and breathes and loves everything that they do, and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks, and almost uses that as fuel to continue their journey of heroism.“
Her heroes are the Gurls Talk group, an online community that she founded
“I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them.”
From 8 -10 may Adwoah will be discussing mental health taboos and others from weekend at the Soho farmhouse at the GQ heroes inaugural event.
