Sir Alex Ferguson is showing promising early signs of recovery according to latest reports after he had an emergency surgery on a brain hemorrhage.
The Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been in the intensive care after he suffered a coma but can now sit up and talk to family and friends at Salford Royal Hospital, where he was admitted on Saturday.
However, doctors have advised that Fergie will be assessed as he continues his slow road to full recovery.
Members of the footballing world has been sending messages to wish the football icon well in his recovery.
Ferguson won a total of 38 trophies during his 26 years at Old Trafford before he retired in 2013.
