Friday the 19th and Accra was host to designers from all over the continent as the Glitz Africa Fashion Week kicked off. The show held at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast city, Accra.
Designers, in a beautiful array, presented their new breathtaking Spring/Summer season collections.
The organisers of the sixth Edition of the fashion show put together a Young Creative Design Talent competition to harness the skills of start-up designers, availing them a stage to showcase their creations to both local and international audiences.
Day 1 commenced with an electric show from Roksana which gave way to structured pieces from Papa Oppong, and drape dresses from Yutee Rone Atelier and more.
There was also a business of fashion seminar, graduate show, photography sessions, exhibitions, young creative talent show and more runway shows.
