Former Super Eagles and newly signed Hibernian defender, Efe Ambrose will likely face disciplinary action for failing to return to Easter Road after summer break.
According to the team gaffer Neil Lennon, Ambrose was given an extended holiday after playing an important role in Hibernian quest for promotion and he has since failed to return, missing all preseason games.
Lennon said: “There’s no sign of Efe so he is in a bit of trouble. I can’t get a hold of him at all. He was given a wee bit of time off, but I think he is pushing the boundaries at the minute. The sooner he is back, for his sake, the better. I expected him back a lot sooner than this and it will be getting discussed behind closed doors” he told Edinburgh news.
The former Kaduna United defender joined Hibernian on loan from Scottish Champions Celtic FC in the winter transfer window and after putting up scintillating displays, the Easter Road club secured him permanently from Celtic.
