President Muhammadu Buhari expectedly extended the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun, and Abuja for another two weeks. Clearly, a lot of Nigerians were unhappy with the decision. However, in his national address, President Buhari said that coronavirus is not a joke.
As much as you might want to use these two weeks as a chance to lounge, play games, and Netflix and chill, (which is fine), you should also use it as a great opportunity to learn something new and become productive.
The first question is to ask yourself what you want to achieve during these 14 days lockdown. Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to learn photography? Graphics? learn how to use excel?
After you decided on what you want to improve on, you look for resources that will assist you in learning them. Today, you don’t need to break the bank before you get materials on anything you want to learn. A little online research is enough and you can get videos and tons of content on whatever you want to learn. You just need to ensure that you don’t suffer from content overload.
Besides learning something new, you can also search for opportunities to earn some money especially if your job has been temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This lockdown is not the time for you to despair, see it as a chance, opportunity to learn something new that will positively impact your life!
