Ariana Grande has denied her new album is arriving this week. Rumours had been circulating online that the pop star would be releasing the follow-up to ‘Sweetener‘ today.
However, the singer has now spoken out about the reports, saying the record isn’t ready to release. “I’ve seen rumours that it’s coming Friday but it’s not yet,” she tweeted when a fan asked for a release date. “We still finishing things up.”
Despite Grande still working on the album, she has already confirmed its title and shared the title track, ‘Thank U, Next‘. The song contains references to some of her famous exes – Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson, and Mac Miller.
The singer only released her fourth studio album, ‘Sweetener’, in August.
