Robert Barbera, a New York-based photographer, photographed Ariana Grande last year as she exited a building carrying a bag that read, “Sweetener’’ and she is now claiming Ariana posted the picture on Instagram without her permission.Two of the photos were then shared on Grande’s official Instagram account on Aug. 17, the day Grande released her album, Sweetener. “Happy sweetener day,” she wrote in the caption.

Now, Barbera is asking for either the profits she gained from the photos or for $25,000 for each photo, whichever amount is more.

Imagine getting sued for posting pictures your friends take of you on a selfie.
