Arsenal appear to be back in the battle for the race of top four. This weekend took quite a turn in events, with victories to Arsenal, Chelsea, Leicester and Manchester United, Wolves and Manchester City suffered defeats, meaning Arsenal have revived their hopes of going for Champions League Football.

The final day of premier football this season would be quite interesting, Chelsea would be taking on Wolves, while Leicester would face off Manchester United, which means the final day might decide who goes for the biggest Club tournament.

Three matches ago, Arsenal were in no man’s land, closer to the middle table than the top four, but with three wins and zero goals conceded, in three games, they have managed to turn their fortunes around and lift their spirits.

However, Arsenal are still eight points behind Chelsea, with five games to go. They would be banking on the verdict of Manchester City’s ban going against City, to increase their chances of going to Europe.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport had earlier announced that a decision on City’s faith would be announced in the first half of July, and should it be upheld, City would miss two years of European football.

This ban would open up a space in the Champions League, meaning the fifth place could secure a spot in the competition. Increasing the chances of the North London club going for the Champions League.
