Curvy models are gradually making more appearances in fashion, as seen on the runway for Michael Kors collection for the Fall 2017 runway. Ashley Graham makes heads turn at the event this year. Well done Girl!
The British Curvy model has been working toward this dream, now a reality, of having the inclusivity of curvy models into the high fashion sphere.
Not only has she made history of officially becoming the first curvy model to walk the Brand’s runway, she had herself on vogue cover, named A British Vogue star mere days before strutting the runway.
Work it girl! What results do you expect? Troops of women with curves already started gearing towards Kor’s design, as his pieces go up to a size 16. Making them know it’s about time curvy girls are not left out.
The model lineup was serious as usual.
A shimmering tie-waist dress that will work definitely for numbers of shapes and sizes was modelled by Bella Hadid, while Selena Forrest was fierce in leopard.
Yasmin Wijnaldulm gave us that feeling of warmth in a fur, not leaving behind lineisy Montero’s python accessories which left us drooling.
Omg!! Imaan Hammam’s slouchy suede boots are definitely everything, but our home girl, Mayowa Nicholas slayed life outta the cropped fur, looking so chic.
Some bomb shell effect was seen on Naki Depass’s cozy coat which was cinched at her waist and Elle Rosa’s olive ensemble did justice wanting us going monochrome immediately.
Our LBD dream came true with Joan Smalls, while Ysaunny Brito has an embellished jumpsuit and bold fur cape which certainly made the star- studded front row swoon over.
E reality TV star Kendall Jenner ended the show in a Sequin and fringe number that hopefully may be seen on the Oscars red carpet.
