Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants are interested in signing the Gabon international at the end of the season with sporting director Eric Abidal having identified several transfer targets.
Aubameyang took over as Arsenal captain from Grant Xhaka earlier this month, with the Swiss midfielder stripped of the captaincy and dropped following an altercation with the club’s fans after being substituted earlier this month
Aubameyang joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, quickly establishing himself as a fan favourite and one of the leagues deadliest forwards
The 30-year-old Gabonese forward has scored an impressive 50 goals in 79 appearances for the Gunners, including 9 in 14 appearances this season.
Aubameyang has previously been linked to a Spanish giant, Real Madrid while he was still plying his trade in Germany, but ended up in North London with Arsenal
