All of the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have an extra scene or two tucked into the end credits of the movie. It’s something fans have come to expect from the shared universe.
However, all that changes with Avengers: Endgame, which hits theatres on April 26. There isn’t a traditional mid-credit or end-credit sequence, but there is a little audio stinger at the end. This makes it the first film in the MCU to break the pattern.
Despite the recent reveal that the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home is indeed the conclusion of Marvel’s “Phase 3,” Endgame represents the end of an era and deserves to end on a resounding silence.
