Marvel continues to cause a romp in theatres with its latest, “Avengers: Infinity War” already shattering Box Office records barely 3 days after premiere.
According to reports, the superhero movie, which premiered on Friday, April 27 has grossed a whopping $630m on its first weekend at the global box office, trumping the former record set by “The Fate of the Furious” of $541.9m in 2017.
This also marks the highest opening weekend ever for a Marvel movie.
In terms of domestic earnings, the movie also trounces Disney’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” making about $250m since its release. This is 3 million dollars more compared to what “The Force Awakens’ grossed in 2015.
