Popular Feyenoord teen sensation Lateef Omidiji Jnr is set to make his debut for Nigeria come July 19th as he will become the youngest player to make a debut for the country.
The talented 14-year-old will part of Nigeria U15 squad that will participate at the African Youth Games holding in Algeria after he was given permission by Feyenoord to participate.
His father is Nigerian while his mother is an American and is currently being courted by big clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG. He was once called up to play for the USA U14 team but turned it down in order to play for his country.
He is likely to be included in Nigeria’s U17 squad for the qualifiers slated later this year should Nigeria avoid a ban.
His sister Sophia Omidiji plays for the Super Falcons.
