“Bad Boys for Life,” the third installment in the Bad Boys franchise, nabbed a huge opening at the box office this weekend. The third sequel in the Bad Boys series has seen a $68.1 million four-day weekend debut in the U.S., and a $100 million-plus worldwide start.The film eclipsed 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II, and exceeded the pre-release forecasts of a $38 million weekend. The third film in the trilogy had solid reviews with a 76% review score on Rotten Tomatoes, and it followed two popular films in 1995 and 2003, which brought in more than $400 million worldwide.
