Former Liverpool striker, Mario Balotelli, is set to be in search of a new club, after reports that Brescia is set to terminate his contract.
Balotelli has failed to return to training, since Serie A teams have been allowed to return to training, following the enforced break caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Brescia had earlier offered the former Man City striker a consensual termination of his club contract, but he and his lawyer rejected the proposal. His lawyer, Mattia Grassani, has now received a new letter, confirming that the players contract is set to be terminated.
Since missing training, Balotelli has sent the club a medical report, to prove he has been suffering from gastroenteritis. The issue is expected to be resolved by an independent arbitration panel, with the player set to submit a claim of wrongful termination of contract.
Brescia would be looking to resolve the current issue as soon as possible, to prevent any unrest in the camp, while Balotelli might find it difficult to sign for a new club, due to his constant fallout with club authorities and members.

The Italian Serie A will resume on the 20th of June. With Juventus on top of the table, with just one point ahead of Lazio who is in second place, while Inter Milan, Atlanta, Roma and Napoli are occupying the third to sixth positions, will be hoping to qualify for the Champions League.
