Michelle Obama and her husband Barack now have their own official portraits, thanks to Nigerian-American artist, Kehinde Wiley and Baltimore-based artist Amy Sherald.
It was certainly a huge honour for the artist to have painted the former President of the United States of America and his wife, Michelle.
The portraits were unveiled by the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington.
The artists are the first African Americans commissioned to paint official portraits of the first couple for the National Portrait Gallery.
