Beyoncé has announced she will be releasing a capsule collection with luxury fashion brand, Balmain.


Balmain was the brand that created the HBCU-inspired uniform outfits that the singer and her dancers wore on stage at her critically acclaimed Beychella earlier this year.

According to Vogue, the collection will comprise of the yellow and pink sweatshirts from the event as well as another black T-shirt design with the same sorority-inspired graphic.

The proceeds from the collection sale will go to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). UNCF is An American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 37 private historically black colleges and universities.

The collection is slated to be launched on Friday, July 13, in Balmain’s Paris flagship store, while the items going on sale on balmain.com and beyonce.com the following day.
