Bill Cosby has performed for the first time since dozens of women accused him of sexual abuse in 2015.
Cosby cracked jokes to a small crowd made up of old friends and supporters at LaRose Jazz Club in Philly.
The 80-year-old comedian didn’t mention the sex abuse scandal, in which more than 60 women have come forward to claim he drugged and molested them over five decades. Audience members clapped, laughed and did not interrupt or challenge Cosby during the performance.
Cosby’s last comedy tour ended with protests in May 2015 after dozens of women accused him of everything from rape to sexual battery.
Cosby is scheduled for an April 2 retrial on charges he sexually assaulted a woman at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. His first trial ended with a hung jury last year.
