One of the leading makeup brands, Black Opal has made some brand modification moves, which it announced in a gathering of top-notch make-up artists, media personalities and consistent friends and family on at the Intercontinental Hotel in Lagos.
The event was not just a re-launch exercise for Black Opal, but was an experiential and engaging time for the brand and participants.
Black Opal announced it rebranding as BLK OPL.
Not only were the guests treated to a variety of finger foods and drinks, there was a runway session that sought to demonstrate the different revised and new products in the new BLK OPL Portfolio.
Quite a number of different shades in the Product range which were displayed for viewing at the event were carefully made to suit the different skin tones of all women of colour.
International Brand representative, BLK OPL in Nigeria, Sira Dhesan Naidu explained at the event that the new look, BLK OPL personifies the confident 21st century woman who is always at the top of her game.
Theodora Mogo of Doranne Beauty, Abimbola Craig, Bryan Okwara, Idia Aisen, Tope Odigie of Ewabela Beauty Solution, Jemima Osunde and a few other celebrities were there to grace the occasion.

Kuddy Cosmetics, a major retail cosmetic brand, who has major partnerships with BLK OPL also partnered with the makeup brand at the event last Wednesday.
CEO of Kuddy Cosmetics, Kudirat Fashola who has been in the makeup business for a little over 30 years says she has so much faith in BLK OPL and is very certain that the organization is positioned to provide excellent service to customers.
The programme for the day came to an end with a few interactive sessions and relationship building among attendants who later went home with goody bags containing various products from BLK OPL.
