Bozoma Saint John is an example of a modern day black woman Amazon. Strong, fearless and incredibly successful, the American-Ghanaian melanin goddess embodies what young women aspire to be.
A marketing genius and a force to reckon with, Boz has worked with Ashley Stewart, Apple, Uber, and several other global brands and is getting recognition for it.
She recently got her spread to herself in Net-A-Porter’s magazine The Porter Edit where she looked every inch powerful and beautiful.
She took to Instagram to share the news and the pictures with this caption:
“Who’s the Boz?” Tuh!
@PORTERMagazine found out!! And truth be told, I too, surprisingly found out in this spread pictorial and article in their summer issue!! It’s rare to be taken aback by someone else’s interpretation of you. And in this case, I was surprised by the raw way @carina_chocano has been able to tell my story. I’m grateful for her insight, and the beauty of her observances in ways that are hard for me to see myself. I’m also grateful to @lukegilford for seeing me through his lens and capturing the fresh-faced
fullness of my power in this very moment. As always, I’m grateful to my dream team @taiyoungstyle and @reign.mari.hair for their care and talent in bringing forth my melaninated and kinkyfied beauty. And maaaaaan, the styling of @jasonrembert with these royal robes right here?? Tuh!! I don’t have the words! And I’m also speechless over the work @stronghousefitness has guided me through to get to my most powerful physique EVER (and we’re not done yet!) And none would be possible without beautiful people like the Editor-In-Chief @thesarahbailey1, Bookings Director @karlashield, Art Director @mrjayhess , @creativebloodagency, @NetAPorter; and my amazing Endeavor colleagues at @TheWallGroup & @imglens. And special shout out to my boo, @yarashahidi who covers this issue in all her magnificent glory!”
