Thinking of breakfast, foods that are easy and quick are the first things that come to mind. Thoughts of cereal, eggs, tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice, pancakes and the like are the norm. Little did you know that some of these choices are massively unhealthy.

An average muffin has over 455 calories in it! Look, to put it plainly, eating muffins everyday is the fastest route to obesity. Study also shows that muffins can lead to cardiac arrest as its components are made up of sugar and trans fat.

Coffee is great, but when you think it should be the only meal for breakfast, then you are in for big trouble. Caffeine in the body can trigger your stress hormones to spike. Little wonder you feel weak and drowsy. It also causes an increase in the excretion of vital and important body nutrients such as magnesium, calcium and potassium leading to a highly imbalance of electrolytes in the body.

The fact that it starts with fruit doesn’t mean it is great for you. In fact, it’s a decoy as this is just sugar and loads of calories. This will lead to fat and unnecessary body weight.
