Yes, surely the ultimate early 00s style muse has landed her first major high fashion campaign for Kenzo and she is the real natural beauty.
Rumours have been swirling for weeks about the princess of pop’s involvement with the Japanese-French luxury house, after promo images were leaked a few weeks ago on social media. Eagle-eyed fans on the gram were also quick to spot a post in November last year with iconic photographer Peter Lindbergh, captioned “Secret project.”
Confirming the fashion whispers, Britney Spears revealed the not-so-secret campaign, with Spears gushing in full-on Kenzo gear: “So excited to announce my new campaign for @KENZO’s La Collection Memento No2 shot by @therealpeterlindbergh!!! #Kenzolovesbritney.”
Double denim galore? The thigh-high boots comeback? Trucker hat? Cropped hoodies? We’re getting serious Spears circa 2002 vibes. The La Collection Memento N0 2 which will be available online and in stores March with the new campaign revealed on Kenzo’s Instagram.
