While the judicial arm of government is facing trying-times and under-going total scrutiny, the President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday endorsed two judges for elevation to the Supreme Court. These judges namely – Sidi Bage, from Nassarawa State, North Central and Paul Jauro, from Taraba State, North East.
Both judges from the court of appeal,were found worthy and were recommended by the National Judicial Council for appointment as Justices of the Supreme Court.
These recommendations awaiting the consideration and confirmation by the Senate were made in accordance with Section 231 (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as amended.
