Former Brazil captain and two-time World Cup winner Cafu has lost one of his sons after a suspected heart attack while playing football near his family home in Sao Paolo.
Danilo Feliciano de Moraes, 30, who is Cafu’s eldest son, complained of feeling unwell and was rushed to the Albert Einstein Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
The news of Danilo’s passing was confirmed by Cafu’s long-time friend and Brazilian teammate Paulo Sergio.
Cafu’s boyhood club Sao Paulo, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma and Inter Milan have all sympathized with their former player over his son’s death.
