Can you Rock a 70’s Blazer like claire?
On this month’s edition of the Cover magazine, Claire Nnani (née Idera) appears alongside husband Akah Nnani.
The theme was Young, Married and Free and the segment was the Best of blazers (where the lovely couple both donned blazers).
Claire is an artist and a model (her figure showcases this).
When I was sourcing outfits for her, I made sure to keep the theme in mind, while taking into consideration her frame and her shape.
Knowing she could pull off anything I dared to drape her in a diamante body chain bralette from jewellery brad; Jewel by Tee.
For earrings, I went with a diamante statement pair that enhanced the beauty of her diamante bralette.
That being said, the main subject of the whole ensemble was that
’70s inspired blazer from Wodi Benuah.
I chose this WB number because the exaggerated shoulders on that suit denote the 70’s.
An era that saw freedom of fashion at its peak!
Although they both wore black suits, I needed to make sure they each stood out hence both blazers have their unique characteristics.
Royal Boss Vibes were served on both ends if I do say so myself.
Others have come before Claire to try this trend and rock this puff shouldered mini blazer look like a pro…
To name a few;
Let’s never forget this iconic blazer moment when Rih was channelling her good girl gone bad persona.
Claire truly is in good company.
Is this a look you would try?
Let me know your thoughts about her outfit and whether you can pull it off.

Style Tip: Go for a blazer set because it will grant you more flexibility with outfit options.
