Cardi B and her fiancé, Offset have reportedly been sued by a man who claims they instructed three men to savagely assault him after he asked for an autograph.
The alleged incident occurred as Cardi and Offset were leaving a Met Gala after party. The man, Giovanni Arnold, allegedly asked for autographs several times, at which point Cardi reportedly said to him, “Fuck outta here, nigga. I will slap the shit out of you,” according to reports; Offset reportedly added, “Shut up, bro, before a nigga beat you out here.”
According to the suit, three unidentified men “savagely beat Plaintiff [Giovanni Arnold], punching him and then stomping on his face while he was on the ground,” and then fled the scene.
Giovanni Arnold’s suit reportedly alleges “assault, battery, [and] intentional infliction of emotional distress,” and seeks unspecified damages.
