TIME Magazine’s annual list of 100 most influential people was released on Thursday with Rihanna and Cardi B making the list, amongst others.
Cardi B’s pop culture influence over the past few months have sky rocketed especially with her pregnancy and the release of her debut album, Invasion Of Privacy.
Cardi’s cosign came with a letter from Taraji P. Henson who wrote “Now she’s the biggest thing in music. And even with all those eyeballs watching, she’s still unapologetically herself. Cardi B’s here to stay, baby, and I’m happy to be a witness.”
Like Cardi, Rihanna’s influence can also be seen today. Rihanna earlier this year became the first artist to pass two billion streams on Apple Music.
The list also included Jennifer Lopez, Issa Rae, Donald Trump, Chadwick Boseman and many more.
