Super Eagles and Wolverhampton Wanderers first choice striker, Carl Ikeme on Tuesday resumed training.

Ikeme, who made 33 appearances for the championship side last season has been out of action since March.

The lanky goalkeeper revealed the picture of himself gyming on his Twitter handle on Tuesday and wrote:

“Work (with an emoji of flexed biceps and a football icon)….”

Ikeme missed couple of games for the Super Eagles of Nigeria including the all important AFCON 2019 qualifier against Bafana Bafana of South Africa due to injury and his return will be a big relief to the Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr as he prepares the team for the upcoming 2018 world cup qualifier against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in August.

Ikeme has made 9 caps for Nigeria since making his debut in 2016 and kept 10 clean sheets for Wolves last season.
