Game Week 3 of the greatest club competition in football started yesterday and boy were there fireworks! All the big teams delivered and last night certainly wasn’t one for the underdogs

The stars came out to play last and it was a goal show. PSG took Club Brugge apart as one would have expected, Golden Boy Kylian Mbappe came on in the second half but still found enough time to register a hat-trick and an assist for Mauro Icardi which sees them top of the group, 5 points clear of Real Madrid.

Over in London, Tottenham got back to winning ways with a 5 goal demloision of FK Crevena Zvezda. The usual suspects registered, Harry Kane and Son both bagging braces and Erik Lamela registering as well, taking Spurs up to second in Group B. Still in Group B, Madrid did get the result and 3 points in Turkey, it wasn’t so easy for them with Toni Kroos’ 18th minute strike being the only thing between the sides

Bayern Munchen kept up their perfect start to the UCL with a 3-2 win on the road over Olympiacos with Lewandowski continuing his unbelievable start to the season with a brace hitting his 20th goal of the season, already!

Manchester City also delivered a thumping at the Etihad with Atalanta the victims, City currently have 9 points from 9 and sit top of Group C. Raheem Sterling delivered another masterclass, netting his first Champions League hat-trick, the brit doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon.sterling hattrick

Atletico won their game in group D in typical Atletico fashion, a 1-0 win off the back of elite defending. in the other Group D game, Paulo Dybala who was almost offloaded by Juventus sent a message to the higher ups with 2 delightful finishes, one from distance and one with the outside of the boot from close range.

These are the nights we live for, big teams on display and big players shining!
