Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy with a group known as ‘Occupy Unlimited’ have revealed to Premium Times correspondence that they would be marching to occupy the National Assembly in Abuja on Tuesday.
The group is said to be a Civil society group and also an advocacy group whose national Coordinator is Charly Boy himself.
They revealed that they are worried-sick about the ‘Corrupt leadership which has ruined the country over time and rendered ordinary Nigerians penniless as a result of inept governance.’
“This is a process of holding politicians accountable not only to their promises, but in their service to the Nigerian nation.” Says Charly Boy.
Retson Tedheke , a co-covener of the conference and Public Affairs Officer of the group said they want the Nigerian Law makers to initiate the process of a referendum to review the constitution, specifically with the aim of scrapping the Senate.
The group called for Nigerians to come out enmass and join the protest of “Occupy the National Assembly” on tuesday.
