Meek Mill’s mugshot has surfaced amidst controversy surrounding his jail sentence.
A Pennsylvania Judge, Genece E. Brinkley on Monday sentenced the 30 year old rapper to 2-4 years for violating the conditions of his probation.
However, some industry stakeholders are calling the sentence ‘heavy-handed and unjust’ and the hip hop community has rallied round the rapper who is Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend since the sentence was announced on Monday.
Similarly Mill’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina is alleging inappropriate behavior by the judge and claimed the adjudicator has a personal bias against his client.
Joe said plans to appeal the sentence are already in the process.
The mugshot was taken at the state prison in Graterford, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
The rapper, with real name Robert Rahmeek Williams, was convicted of drug dealing and gun possession back in 2008, almost a decade now.
