Chelsea has announced the capture of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in a fee believed to be around £57.6m move.
However, the 20-year old will be immediately loaned back to the German club for the remainder of the 2018-19 season to see out his contract.
The United States international became the second most expensive outfield player in Chelsea’s history, after Alvaro Morata and is seen as a major scoop for the Blues considering the fact that a number of English clubs, including Liverpool and Arsenal were in the bidding for the prolific star who impressed last season with Dortmund.
He is the fourth major signing under Maurizio Sarri after Kepa Arrizabalaga and Jorginho who arrived for significant fees.
