Chris Tucker has finally confirmed that Rush Hour 4 is indeed in the works.
Tucker announced the news while speaking on ESPN’s podcast The Plug stating that he’s all set along with Jackie Chan to do Rush Hour 4.
He said: “It’s happening. This is gonna be the rush of all rushes. Jackie is ready and we want to do this so that people don’t ever forget it.”
Despite this, Tucker did not provide any further details about the project, including a release date or who’ll be directing. Brett Ratner, who helmed all three Rush Hour movies, is currently facing numerous sexual harassment allegations.
Recently, Chan also revealed, after turning down several different scripts for seven years, that he and Tucker had agreed to a particular idea for the potential fourth entry in the action-comedy franchise.
