Barcelona defender, Clement Lenglet, has expressed his desire to at Barcelona beyond this summer.
A lot of news has been going round lately with regards to Barcelona players leaving the club.
“No one knows what the future holds as a footballer, but I hope to be at Barcelona next season,” Lenglet told RMC.
“It will depend on the transfer window, It’s a special period for clubs and no one is exempt from anything, but I hope to stay.”
Before the pause of the season due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Lenglet had lost his starting place to fellow Frenchman, Samuel Umtiti, missing some important games like the El Clasico, which he expressed sadness over missing.
“There are various reasons to explain this situation, the arrival of a new coach, and Samuel has been playing well, the cards have been shuffled, but after that we’re both playing more or less the same amount of time”
“However, I didn’t play the Clasico and that was a little disappointing for me, but that’s part of the life of a footballer“. He further added.
