But we have a sort of shortcut to achieving that muscular look without seeing the inside of a gym. Did you know that the way you dress can make you appear muscular? Read on to discover how:

Follow the V-shape rule

If you wear the right clothing, you can make yourself look wider and more muscular. This is what happens when you go to the gym to exercise because you are attempting to make your shoulders seem wider and your waist more narrow. This is called V-shape rule. Follow this rule when you are buying clothes.

Try different patterns

Vertical stripes make you look taller while horizontal stripes make your body seem wider/broader. You can buy attires that have both stripes so that you will look both taller and broader.

Perfect fit

You will never look muscular if you always wear loose clothing. It must be a well fitting shirt-not too tight and not too loose. Also, avoid clothes with big shoulder pads. It will only make you look smaller.

Wear white

White oftentimes makes you look bigger. Hence, if you are freaked about appearing muscular, then start wearing white!

Check the shirt seam

A seam is a line where two pieces of fabric are sewn together in a cloth. It follows that as you are finding clothes that allow you look muscular, it is also essential to consider where the seams fall. If the seams fall below your shoulders, it simply means it is too big for you. The seams must sit on or just above the shoulders.
