We speculated, we hoped, but now we can rest assured that T’Challa and his entire Wakanda kingdom will be back.
Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige has confirmed a sequel to the all black movie, Black Panther, although he refused to reveal more – of course we don’t want any spoilers.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Feige said there are story plans in motion for the sequel. While saying he had “nothing specific to reveal”, he added: “We absolutely will do [a sequel]. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.”
Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is currently dominating the box office, having amassed a record breaking $1 billion worldwide within a month.
We can’t wait to see more of Princess Shuri (Letitia Wright), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and of course, Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o).
