The Born In Africa festival (BAFEST) is coming up in a few days and we just can’t wait to experience the goodness. By now, you should know that the biggest artists in the continent would be performing that night but there are other events such as the art, fashion and film exhibitions in the programme to also anticipate.
The films exhibited would entail both short and feature-length movies. Various short films would be screened including Accelerate’s very own Filmmaker project which comprises of six highly acclaimed films in coalition with AFRIFF (Africa International Film Festival) then a feature-length film would follow. The short films would be shown from 9am to 4pm and the latter would be from 4pm to 6pm.
Fashion segment includes shows and runways. Renowned designers would be displaying their unique styles. Popular model Oluchi and fashionista Toke Makinwa would be present for the event.
And of course, creatives would be exhibiting their art works. You may be leaving with a painting or sculpture you fancy, who knows?
BAFEST would take place on December 16th, 2018. The art, fashion, and film displays would be showcased from 9am to 6pm while the music concert starts after 6pm.
