Davido made history Sunday night to become the second African artiste to sell out the 20,000 capacity O2 arena London.
The singer gave a stellar performance as he blended his rich Afrobeats sounds in western rap spice that thrilled fans to no end.
But we’re here to talk about his ensemble for the night. The energetic artiste performed in his most fashion forward getup yet, ripped jeans, a white shirt and a 2019 limited edition Iyami Eleye bomber jacket by Nigerian fashion brand Okunoren.
The jacket, which features striking hand-crafted beading details is said to have taken 21 days to complete. Impressive, right?
The limited edition bomber jacket is part of the brand’s soon-to-be-released Autumn/Winter 19 collection Divinity To Form.
Speaking on the collection, its creative director Taiye Okunoren says:
“The creation of the collection required a deep understanding of the divinity of the Yoruba people and expressed the vital role that women play in bringing this to life. The unique piece in its essence pays homage to the divine feminine.”
